Yuji Kumada is the third president of a long-standing cutlery manufacturer which was established in Seki, Gifu Prefecture in 1946.
Incorporating young craftsmen’s ideas, the company has been creating unique cutlery and other cutting tools, including scissors and letter openers, in the shape of Japanese swords.

They want people to recognize their products as not only sharp but also fun to use. Their goal is to continue to produce items which excite their customers.
They also provide an active and enjoyable workspace for their craftsmen.

Their products, such as Japanese sword scissors, were invented in order to create something unique and interesting. They are very popular among foreign tourists and also Japanese people who love history.
