Textile has been the main industry for over four hundred years in Gunnai, which is located near Mount Fuji. The fabrics are collectively called “Gunnai Orimono.”
Yamazaki Orimino was established in 1916 to manufacture and sell Gunnai textiles. Since then, they have manufactured a variety of fabric products. They are now operating Fuji Sakura Kobo as their original brand for ties, shawls and other small items.
Their ties are carefully made and easy to tie. They have classical patterns and come in a wide variety of colors and designs popular in Japan.
Their shawls are made from natural materials, such as silk and wool, for supreme texture and comfort. Through a continued process of checking the condition of the threads and fabric density, they have successfully developed quick-to-dry fabrics, soft fabrics, smooth fabrics and light fabrics.
